Megan Krzmarzick is a visual artist, writer, and cancer survivor living and working in Portland, Oregon. Her bold and dramatic use of color and texture gives form to feeling, capturing deep and resonate emotion and energy, exploring themes of creative identity and healing. She is the author of a hand-painted poetry zine “Running Away from Home," a small press publication carried at Powell’s Books. Megan has shown her work at Presso, Backtalk PDX, Blackbird Wine Shop, and most recently at Blanc Space in Portland as part of a multi-disciplinary show on identity and as a performer at the Future Prairie Queer Variety Show. She leads creative workshops and writes about womxn artists around the world on Art Baby.
