Megan Krzmarzick is a visual artist, writer, and cancer survivor living and working in Portland, Oregon. Her bold and dramatic use of color and texture gives form to feeling, capturing deep and resonate emotion and energy, exploring themes of creative identity and healing. She is the author of a hand-painted poetry zine “Running Away from Home," a small press publication carried at Powell’s Books. Megan has shown her work at Presso, Backtalk PDX, Blackbird Wine Shop, and most recently at Blanc Space in Portland as part of a multi-disciplinary show on identity. She leads creative workshops as the founder of "Humanities Dept," a series based in Portland, Ore. A schedule of new classes will be released in 2019.
